IV stage of trainings is launched for Precinct Election Commissions’ (PEC) members for extraordinary and By-Elections of October 1, 2023. This is the summarizing stage of the trainings, the target audience of which is defined as PEC head officials (chairman, deputy, secretary).
In accordance with the concept developed by the Training Centre, various important issues related to the mandate of PECs head officials will be discussed at the training, among them: organizational powers of PEC head officials in the period from the opening of the polling station to the start of polling; organizational powers of PECs head officials during the period from the closing of the polling station to the start of the vote counting process; the technique of drawing up a summary protocol of voting results; ensuring publicity of the voting process; polling day statements/complaints.
PECs head officials, wherepolling will be conducted using electronic technologies, will work in the format of continuing training on the practical use of electronic devices in the polling process, through which PEC members will serve voters on October 1, the polling day.
The trainers trained by the Training Centre will conduct IV stage trainings for PECs in the period of September 23-25 of this year. The schedule is available at the link. In case of any changes, the information will be reflected immediately.
During III stage trainings held in the period of September 17-21, 2023, each PEC, consisting of head officials and members, passed the preparatory phase by conducting episodic stagings of the polling day. 1333 members of 133 PECs took part in it. Detailed statistic is available at the link.
