In accordance with the concept developed by the Training Centre for the Extraordinary and By-Elections to be held on October 1, 2023, the trainings for the members of the Precinct Election Commissions (PEC) include four stages. I Stage trainings carried out in the period including September 12 were devoted to intensive training of PECs’ head officials, on the II stage, other members of PECs underwent practical training.
According to the strategic plan developed by focusing on delivering the qualified service for voters, the Training Centre provided preparation of an additional stage training program. The changed (new) head officials and members of PECs', as well as those election administrators who could not attend the trainings of the previous stages provided by the schedule, can take part in it.
The training program of the additional stage will be conducted by trainers trained by the Training Centre on September 15. Participants, in accordance with the mandate, will be provided with information on the functions to be implemented in profile during the polling process. Based on the practical training, the head officials and PECs’ members will carry out episodic stagings of the voting process. For election commissions, where polling will be conducted using electronic technologies, the training program provides modeling of procedures using voter verification machines, special electronic vote counting machines and tablet computers.
Additional stage training schedule is available at the link. In case of any changes, the information will be reflected immediately.
