According to the results of a survey conducted in 2020, Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) recognized the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training as an open public institution and awarded with a special certificate for ensuring full-fledged access to public information.
Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) assessed 285 public institutions for assessing the degree of access to public information in Georgia. The Training Center received high assessment according to the results (indicator – 100%). Notably, the Training Center received this award for the sixth time (2011, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020).
At the event, broadcasted in live on the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) Facebook page (see the link - available in Georgian), 19 public institutions with a 100% rate of access to information were identified in 2020 (for detailed report follow the link (available in Georgian)).
Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has been performing the monitoring of access to public information since 2010. The research conducted in 2020 was performed with Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida support.
