According to the results of a survey conducted in 2019, Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) recognized the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training as an open public institution and awarded Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director with a special certificate for ensuring full-fledged access to public information.

Institute for the Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) assessed 284 public institutions for assessing the degree of access to public information in Georgia. The Training Center received high assessment according to the results (indicator – 100%). Notably, the Training Center received this award for the fifth time (2011, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019).

25 public institutions received certificates to recognize their achievement in ensuring access to public information.

Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) has been performing the monitoring of access to public information since 2010. The research (available in Georgian) conducted in 2019 was performed with Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida support.
