The CEC and the Training Centre continue trainings for the members of Precinct Election Commissions for October 1, 2022 Sakrebulo By-Elections Senaki Municipality. Some election procedures will be carried out using electronic technologies within the framework of the pilot project.
On September 16, the representatives of the Training Centre, at the informative-educational meeting held in Senaki, introduced the members of the District Election Commissions in detail to the rules of operation of the machines to be used in the voting process.
On September 23, the III stage of trainings for the members of the Precinct Election Commissions starts, which is dedicated to the training of the full staff of the 3 Precinct Election Commissions in the operational territory of N64Senaki District Election Commission. In accordance with the concept of the trainings, within the framework of the intensive training program, the participants will receive information on the functions performed by the members of the commission during the period from the opening of the polling station to its closing. Based on the practical training, the members of the Precinct Election Commissions will get acquainted in detail how the electronic vote counting machine and the voter verification machine work, and will carry out episodic simulations of the voting process using technologies in the practical training format. The focus will be on the ballot counting procedure, including the audio-video recording aspects of the vote counting process and the technique of compiling a summary protocol of voting results.
The trainer re-trained by the Training Centre will provide III stage training through the period of September 23 - 24. The schedule is available at the link (available in Georgian). In case of any changes, the information will be reflected immediately.
