The delegation of the Election Administration (EA) of Moldova continues meetings with the representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in the frame of their visit. Today, Giorgi Santuriani, the head of the legal department of the CEC, met them and provided information on such important topics as the use of online services in the consideration of election disputes.
Representatives of the EA of Moldova got acquainted with the activities of the Gender Equality Council of the CEC. The policy of the Gender Equality Council of the EA of Georgia and the activities carried out in this direction were presented to the colleagues from Moldova by Maya Zaridze, the Chairperson of the Gender Council, the CEC member.
Deputy chair of the Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training Nino Berulava and head of Training Programs’ Service Maya Gudadze introduced in detail the delegation of EA of Moldova the aspects of Training Centre activities, among them the process of administrating certification of election officials, as well as the training programs implemented in direction of election education in public schools and Georgian Universities.
The meetings, in the framework of which the EA of Georgia shares its experience with the EA of Moldova, were held in close cooperation with the Council of Europe (CoE)
