The Central Election Commission (CEC) and Training Centre continue training members of precinct election commissions (PECs) to administer municipal elections competently and in a health-safe environment.
The study process is being carried out in line with all pandemic-related recommendations. Rapid diagnostic tests are provided to participants on the spot. It should be also mentioned, that the vaccination process of members of election commissions is being implemented gradually.
To facilitate the attendance of PECs members at the training during the period of restriction of public transport, the CEC additionally provides reimbursement of transport expenses to the PEC members, so they attend each phase of the training.
The CEC calls on PECs members to take part in CEC planned training according to the schedule; as the aim of the training is to increase the efficacy election commission’s work and to ensure a safe electoral environment during the pandemic.
Active engagement of PEC members in the study process ensures serving electoral stakeholders and voters at a high level and excludes even the smallest flaw in the polling process.
According to the concept of the training for PEC members, the 4th phase of training will start on 12 September which will train officials of the PECs.
Within the framework of the intensive training program, the training will be conducted based on practical teaching and participants will receive detailed information about their competence-related topics.
