Certification exams of the Election Administration officers will commence from April 7, 2021. The goal of the certification is to determine the familiarity of the citizens of Georgia with electoral legislation and their general skills, in order to subsequently select highly qualified Election Administration officers.
Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training (The Training Centre) will implement the examination process in Tbilisi and Kutaisi Examination Centers, at the following addresses:
The individuals willing to pass the certification exam will be able to undergo distant registration for the exam, from 10:00am on March 23, to 24:00pm, April 1st, at the following electronic address: http://registration.cec.gov.ge/
Instruction for distant, electronic registration:
Upon sending the completed electronic application, applicants will receive automatic electronic confirmation of registration (with the indication of the date, time and venue of an exam).
For registration, applicants can apply to the Tbilisi and Kutaisi Certification Exam Centers, from March 23 through April 1st, 2021, from 10:00am to 18:00pm, except for the weekends and holidays. For registration at the exam centers, applicants shall submit a citizen of Georgia ID or a citizen of Georgia passport.
In order to ensure publicity during the certification exam representatives of accredited local NGOs and international organizations will be admitted as observers at the Exam Centers for supervising the exams process. For accreditation, interested entities shall apply to Tbilisi and Kutaisi Certification Exam Centers, from March 23 through April 1st, from 10:00am to 18:00pm, except for the weekends and holidays.
No more than three observers will be allowed at the exam hall (only one observer from the same organization will be allowed to the exam hall, except for the case when only one organization has taken accreditation). Based on the number of accredited observers, a casting of lots will be held in order to determine the sequence of admitting the observers into the exam hall.
All pandemic recommendations will be followed during the examination process. Due to preventive measures, the participants and observers must appear in the Examination Centres with a medical face mask.
