Title: Informational-training Program "Promoting Women's Capacity Development for Exercising Passive Suffrage"
Goal: Promoting women's participation in the election process and their awareness on election issues, for October 31, 2020 parliamentary, Extraordinary and by-elections;
Target group: potential women candidates
Training Modules: legislative novelties related to the electoral system; gender equality in elections; rules and deadlines for nomination/registration of a candidate for membership in the Parliament of Georgia; pre-election campaign (agitation) and prevention of misappropriation of administrative resources; prevention of cyberbullying in the election process; legal status of the representative of the election subject (communication with election commissions, election disputes); polling day (including regulations on holding elections in a safe environment in a pandemic).

Participants’ statistics: one training session was held, 26 women candidate from 8 political parties pass the training (Democratic Movement – United Georgia, Reformer, Social Democrats for the Development of Georgia, Our United Georgia, Giorgi Vashadze – strategy Aghmashenebeli, Conservative Party of Georgia, Lelo Sakartvelo, New Power)
