Representatives of the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) discussed the Draft Strategic Plan for the Election Administration of Georgia 2020-2023 and the Action Plan 2020 at a working meeting held in Tsinandali.
Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chairperson opened the meeting. Keti Maisuradze, Country Director of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), also welcomed the participants. The meeting participants first discussed the draft Strategic Plan of the Georgian Election Administration 2020-2023, which was presented to them by Ana Mikeladze the CEC spokesperson and Head of the Strategic Planning Team.
The main part of the workshop was dedicated to the detailed discussion of the draft Action Plan 2020 of Election Administration, moderated by Sophio Sitchinava, Head of the CEC Coordination, Planning and Reporting Department. The priorities of the Draft Action Plan are as follows:
The working meeting was held on December 10-13 in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems. CEC members, head and deputy of the Training Centre, heds and stuff of CEC structural units, as well as IFES representatives, were present at the meetings.
