On October 24, 2019, the Training Center, in cooperation with the CEC Human Resources Department, implemented an orientation program “Overview of Elections – General Training Course” for new staff and interns of the Election Administration (the CEC Apparatus, DECs). 15 participants took the training course (6 male and 9 female).

As part of the program, the participants were acquainted with the following topics: historical overview of elections in Georgia; elective state bodies and the electoral system; guiding principles for democratic elections; the structure of the Election Administration and general overview of its work; priorities of the Election Administration work in light of the electoral cycle; electoral stakeholders and their role.

The above-mentioned activity, pursuant to the strategic plan of the Election Administration, is aimed at supporting professional development of the Election Administration staff.
