On May 9, 2019, the CEC and the Training Center hosted students. The meeting was held at the initiative of the Independent Children and Students Union of Georgia.

As part of the event, the Training Center representatives held a seminar for youth and familiarized them with the following topics: historical overview of elections and modern times, elections and democracy, key principles of holding elections and international standards, gender equality, the role of the Election Administration and other stakeholders in the elections process, legislative mechanisms for exercising voting right by voters.

As part of the visit, the students viewed a historical photo exhibition about elections at the CEC.

Such meetings contribute to raising the awareness of citizens around electoral matters.
