According to the Concept of Trainings (available in Georgian) developed by the Training Center for the Parliamentary By Elections and Municipality Mayors’ Extraordinary Elections, during April 30 through May 4, 2019, 2^nd Stage trainings for PEC members were held (9 members per PEC).

As part of the profile training program, the participants were acquainted with the following key topics:

• opening a polling station and distribution of functions among PEC members by casting lots;
• activities of PEC members to ensure the enjoyment of voting right by voters in the polling process;
• voters’ personal data protection;
• rights status of individuals authorized to be at the polling station;
• activities of PEC members in the process of closing a polling station and counting of the votes;
• summarizing polling results at the PEC.

To promote enhanced procedural knowledge of PEC members, the trainings were delivered using a combined methodology; this included episodic role-plays by participants to enhance practical skills. As part of the practical teaching, video was shown and relevant instructions were provided to PEC members concerning the matters of participation of voters with disabilities in elections.

2,718 members of 393 PECs took Stage 2 trainings, among them, 1841 - women, 877 - men. Follow the Link (available in Georgian) for detailed statistics.
