According to the Concept of Trainings developed by the Training Center for the May 19, 2019 By/Extraordinary Elections, on May 8 trainings for DEC members (№1 Mtatsmindaს, №11 Sagarejo, №18 Akhmeta, №22 Marneuli, №51 Zestafoni,  №38 Adigeni,  №60 Ozurgeti,  №56 Chiatura, №84 Khulo და №67 Zugdidi DECs) will be launched. All members of DECs will undergo the course.

The training will focus on the powers of DEC members, as follows:

• DEC activities during the pre-election period;
• voting day and managing electoral operations;
• protecting voters’ personal data;
• communication/coordination with PECs;
• summarizing election voting results at DECs;
• credibility and security of elections.

The combined methodology will be used during the training. As part of practical teaching, DEC members will also learn about the matters of the participation of voters with disabilities in voting, through a video clip and will receive relevant instructions/guidance on this issue.

10 trainers trained by the Training Center will deliver the training program. DEC members’ trainings will end on May 9, 2019. Follow the Link (available in Georgian) for detailed schedule of trainings.
