According to the Concept (available in Georgian) of Trainings developed by the Training Center for the Parliamentary Interim Elections and Municipality Mayors’ Snap Elections, from April 30 through May 4, 2019, 2^nd Stage trainings for PEC members were held (the program envisaged training for 9 members per PEC). 3^rd Stage trainings will be commenced on May 6, aimed at PECs leadership training.

As part of the profile training program, the participants will get acquainted with the following key matters:

• PEC powers with respect to voters’ lists;
• organizational functions of PEC leadership in the course of opening a polling station;
• oversight functions of PEC leadership in the voting process and taking actions;
• organizational functions of PEC leadership in the course of closing a polling station;
• oversight functions of PEC leadership in the course of vote counting and taking response action;
• powers of PEC leadership in the developing a voting results summary protocol and in the process of transfering documentation to District Election Commissions;
• voting day application/complaint.

Practical methodology will be used during the training to promote enhanced procedural knowledge of leadership of election commissions.
