From September 18, 2018, trainings for members of DECs will commence. According to the Trainings Concept developed by the Training Center for the President of Georgia October 28, 2018 Elections, DEC members will be trained around matters falling under their authority:

• DEC activities during the pre-election period;
• Voting day and managing election operations;
• Voter personal data protection;
• Communication/coordination with PECs;
• Summarizing election voting results at DECs;
• Credibility and security of elections.

15 trainers trained by the Training Center will deliver the training program for the members of 73 DECs. As part of the Training Course the participants will also be briefed about educational manual produced by the Training Center, according to which DEC members will acquaint PEC members with holding the first session and procedure of electing leadership through role play.
