16 NGOs were funded at the decision of the Competition Committee under the Grant Competition announced on July 16, 2018 on the following topic: Local broadcaster for informing voters and raising their electoral awareness.

The grant projects submitted by the funded NGOs foresees to envisage invigorating local TV broadcasters’ role for ensuring access to quality, professional and independent news for the electorate for the 2018 President of Georgia Elections.

Funded grant projects will be implemented in all regions of Georgia, from September 21 to October 21, 2018.
