Staff members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia and the Training Center were trained in effective communication, monitoring and carrying out evaluation, and report preparations.
Training was opened by Tamar Zhvania, the Chairperson of the CEC, where she mentioned the importance of the existing course - "Training serves to the development of skills and capacity building of CEC staff, which is very important process that is called effective communication and reporting. Hereby, every aspect is accompanied by modern standards and it is crucial to introduce, share and further effectively implement it"- declared Tamar Zhvania.
Training took the start on the June 13 and covered the following issues: characteristics of interpersonal communication, monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems, methods of report preparations, panning of monitoring- implementation plan, etc. Training was conducted by the trainers of “European Center” Salome Zirakadze and Natia Berdzenishvili.
The five-day training was attended by 25 representatives of the CEC and the Training Center. The training was held under the financial support of the Council of Europe and came to the end on June 19.
