In accordance with the concept of trainings elaborated by Election Administration for the April 28, 2018 Parliamentary By-Elections in №54 Majoritarian Election District, second stage trainings were held for DECs members on April 18 - 19, 2018. Full composition of DECs were trained by covering the following key training modules:

• opening of polling stations and procedures prior to polling;
• the voting process (among them, policy of promoting the engagement of persons with disabilities in the election process);
• closing the polling station, summarizing polling results;
• delivery of electoral documentation to DECs;
• security of elections.

Within the format of the training program devoted to the trainings of PECs, Training Centre representatives delivered to the members of District Election Commissions appropriate instructions to ensure the implementation of episodic staging of the polling day, with their involvement (episodic staging envisaged practical exercise of procedures to be performed from 7:00 am on the polling day until 8:00 pm, and drawing a summary protocol on voting results).

Training passed 22 members of Vani N53 and Khoni N55 DECs members, among them men – 8, women – 14.
