The Training Centre elaborated the training concept for the second round of October 21, 2017 Municipal Elections. According to the concept the representatives of Training Centre will conduct working meetings about the renewed training program in municipalities with the trainers of election administration on November 4-5.

Following taking the training course, the trainers of the election administration and the representatives of the Training Centre, in cooperation with district election commission members, will implement training programs on electoral legislation from 5 to 9 November in the precinct election commissions operating in the following election districts: N29 Kazbegi, N36 Borjomi, N59 Kutaisi, N65 Martvili and N60 Ozurgeti.

As part of the training course, the participants will get introduced to the following issues:

• activities of precinct election commissions during the period prior to the polling day (unified list of voters, special list and the rule of forming a list for mobile ballot box);
• activities of precinct election commissions on the polling day (opening a polling station and procedures to be performed prior to polling, polling, policy for promoting involvement of voters with disabilities, closing a polling station, summarising polling results);
• polling day applications/complaints.

According to the concept, after the deadline for withdrawing members from PECs, the additional stage of trainings will be conducted for the new members of precinct election commissions (November 10).
