On October 13, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia hosted youth from the “center for the studies of ethnicity and multiculturalism” (CSEM). Nino Berulava, Deputy Director of a Training Center, met with the young people and talked about activities of the Training Center.
Representatives of CEC Training Center conducted a seminar for youth on the core aspect of elections and the role of a voter in the election process.
Within the framework of the visit, Sophio Sitchinava, Head of Coordination, Planning and Reporting Department met with the young people and delivered comprehensive information to them on activities the election administration has conducted for ensuring ethnic minorities’ awareness and their engagement in 2017 Municipal Elections.
At the end of the meeting, young people visited library and photo exhibition reflecting a history of elections in Georgia.
