Name of the project: Trainings for the Representatives of Regional Media
Aim of the project: to inform representatives of regional media about the issues regarding October 21, 2017 Municipal elections
Target group: representatives of regional media/journalists
Modules: role of media in election process; regulations concerning photo/video recording on the polling day; electoral rights of the media representatives; pre-election campaign and administrative resources; promoting inclusive electoral environment; international experience and main schemes for election coverage
Period of implementation: September 25, 27, 28; 2017
Place of implementation: Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi
Statistics: 3 training Sessions were conducted, 55 journalists passed the training, among them women – 43, men - 12
