Name of the project: training courses for potential women candidates

Aim of the project: to promote women's involvement in the election process and their awareness regarding the issues related to Municipal Elections October 21, 2017

Target group: potential women candidates

Modules: gender equality issues in elections; electoral system of local self-government bodies; mechanisms for implementation of passive suffrage; summarize election results and distribution of mandates; pre-election campaign and administrative resources; electoral disputes

Period of implementation: September 25 – 27, 2017

Place of implementation: Tbilisi, Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel

Statistics: 3 training Sessions were conducted, 69 women passed the training (detailed statistic is available in Georgian)
