On September 18, 2013 NGO “Kakheti Regional Development Fund” held a meeting in the village Duisi (Pankisi gorge) within the frameworks of the project “Informing, raising awareness and motivation of ethnic Osetians, Kists and naturalized Chechen citizens of Georgia living in Pankisi gorge for participation in presidential elections” funded by the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.    

The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and in partnership with UNDP within the frameworks of the project “Effectiveness and Sustainability of Electoral Assistance”.

Representatives of NGO informed population of the gorge about the Election Day and election procedure and distributed information booklets.
