On August 26, 2020, the Training Center, in cooperation with the CEC Human Resources Department, implemented an orientation program “Overview of Elections – General Training Course” for new staff and interns of the Election Administration (the CEC Apparatus, DECs). 20 participants took the training course (3 male and 17 female).

As part of the program, the participants were acquainted with the following topics: historical overview of elections in Georgia; elective state bodies and the electoral system; guiding principles for democratic elections; the structure of the Election Administration and general overview of its work; priorities of the Election Administration work in light of the electoral cycle; electoral stakeholders and their role.

The above-mentioned activity, pursuant to the strategic plan of the Election Administration, is aimed at supporting professional development of the Election Administration staff.
