Subsequent to the invitation from the Council of Europe (CoE), Organization for Security and Cooperation of Europe (OSCE), and Albania Central Election Commission, on April 1-3, 2015 Natia Zaalishvili, Director of the Training Center visited Tirana, Albania, in the capacity of an expert. 

Over the course of the three-day visit Director of the Training Center held meetings with the Albania CEC members, representatives of international organizations (CoE, OSCE), CEC training department employees and trainers. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of implementing training programs focused on raising electoral awareness, as well as challenges in the mentioned direction, and specific mechanisms for refining the trainings platform, methodology and manuals of the Albania Election Administration for the June 21, 2015 local self-government elections were determined. 

Training Center Director made a presentation around key aspects of the Training Center operations, and shared experience about elections related training programs implemented in Georgia, including about those focused on civic education.

At the meeting, future opportunities of the cooperation with the Georgia Training Center were identified, in the direction of supporting the formation of the training center within the Albania election administration system.
