On February 25, 2015 a presentation of International Association of Election Training Center was held. The initiative was developed by the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Centre for Electoral Systems Development, reforms and Trainings and International Centre for Electoral Studies (ICPS).

At the meeting the memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the CEC, Training Centre and ICPS aiming at supporting the development of the association.

Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary of Mexico and Permanent Electoral Authority of Romania have also joined the Memorandum.
