Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings along with the central Election Commission of Georgia hed training for CEC hotline operators on issues concerning elections. Training was held on September 17 at the Training Center.

During the training participants got familiar with novelties in election legislation and consider such issues as:

1. Legal framework of elections

2. Parties involved in elections:

• Observers
• Media
• Representatives of subjects
• Electoral subjects

3. Presidential elections in Georgia:

• Presentation of presidential candidate
• Registration of presidential candidate in Georgia
• Summary of elections’ results
• Second tour

4. Electoral register

5. Election Day:

• Opening of polling station and procedures to be implemented before voting.
• Voting process
• Closing of polling station and summary of results

Educational film “Procedures of the voting day” was shown within the frameworks of the training.
