The project of action plan of the Election Administration (EA) of Georgia for 2022 was discussed at the working meeting by the officials, members, heads of structural units and the training center of the Central Election Commission (CEC). The meeting was opened by Giorgi Kalandarishvili, CEC Chairperson and Keti Maisuradze, Head of the Georgian Office of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
The heads of the CEC structural units and the director of the Training Center presented summary reports on the activities carried out in 2021. The main part of the working meeting was dedicated to the detailed discussion of the project of action plan of the Election Administration for 2022. The project plan is a set of activities defined by the CEC and is based on the Strategic Plan of the Election Administration for 2020-2023, which in turn includes the following priorities: electoral culture and education; election credibility and security; election services and technologies; inclusive election environment; effectiveness of management and institutional strengthening.
The workshop was held on December 8-10 in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).
