On September 16, the Training Centre director Natia Zaalishvili met the representative of National-Democratic Institute (NDI) observation mission Marcell Nagy.

At the meeting the emphasis was set on the concept of intensive trainings developed for the professional re-training of DEC and PEC members for October 2, 2021 elections. The training Centre director also informed the representative of the observation mission about the process of re-trainings for the PECs members in the N4 Krtsanisi DEC using technologies for the implementation of the pilot project.

Informational-training programs implemented by the CEC and the Training Centre in order to promote the development of electoral capacity of the election stakeholders were discussed, among them programs for women candidates, local observer organizations, electoral subjects and media representatives.

Natia Zaalishvili, the Training Centre director also briefed about the e-learning program elaborated for civil servants to prevent the misuse of administrative resources and official/positional status in civil service institutions during the election process.

The representative of the mission was also informed about the measures undertaken in order to provide the inclusive election environment, as well as other informational-training materials, which are available on ethnic minorities languages.
