The Training Centre conducted informational meeting with the representatives of observer organizations and electoral subjects (party/electoral bloc/initiative group) registered for October 31, 2020 Elections.

The representatives of the Training Centre introduced the attendees to the recent amendments to Electoral Legislation and discussed various important issues, such as: regulations related to holding polling process under pandemic; polling day procedures; powers of the members of Precinct Election Commissions (PECs) and electoral stakeholders (including their role in ensuring safe electoral environment); realization of voters electoral rights (including regulations aimed at ensuring the secrecy of vote and voters’ personal data protection during the polling process); summarizing polling results; the ground and the technique for drawing up polling day application/complaint.

45 representatives from 29 local observer organizations and 20 representatives from 15 electoral subjects attended the meeting held on October 16, 2020. The representative from National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) long-term observer mission also attended the meeting.
