Representatives of Election Administration (EA) of Georgia and Training Centre of the Central Election Commission (CEC) observed Parliamentary Elections and Consultative Referendum held on February 24 in the Republic of Moldova.

George Dzagania Head of CEC Legal Department, Tsiala Shavadze Head of N79 Batumi District Election Commission (DEC) and Levan Devidze Head of N36 Borjomi DEC together with Lasha Meladze and David Makaridze - employees of Training Centre visited a number of polling stations on election day and familiarized with procedures of voting, closing of polling stations and announcement of preliminary results on the spot. 

In the framework of the visit, meetings were held with Andrian Candu the Speaker of Parliament of Moldova and Alina Russo, Chairperson of the Moldovan Election Administration where they discussed election-related issues.

Representatives of the Georgian delegation visited the Republic of Moldova on February 22-25, by invitation of Moldovan election administration.
