The meeting with representatives of Multiparty Office - “Westminster Foundation for Democracy” was held at the Central Election Commission (CEC). Dimitri Javakhadze the Member of the Commission, Sophio Sitchinava the Head of Coordination, Planning and Reporting Department of the CEC and Nino Berulava Deputy Director of the CEC Training Centre met with the members of the delegation. 

Sophio Sitchinava introduced meeting participants with the activities carried out by the Election Administration (EA) for ensuring inclusive electoral environment. Ms Sitchinava also discussed the services offered to support the realization of voting rights of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in accordance with the UN the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Election Code of Georgia, and Strategic and Action plans of the EA.

The representatives of Multiparty Office - “Westminster Foundation for Democracy” shared their experiences at the meeting. The delegation of Multiparty Office -“Westminster Foundation for Democracy” will stay in Georgia for the four-day working visit.

The delegation is composed of Adele Poskitt the Head of Foundation, John Hayward Policy Director, Morag Fulton, Scottish National Party activist and Disability Convenor, Natasha Fox – Programme Manager for the Scottish National Party Office, Westminster Foundation for Democracy.
