On May 29, open door day was held at the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia. Giorgi Sharabidze, the CEC Deputy Chairperson met with students of Kant’s Academy and discussed the importance of elections, activities of the Election Administration (EA) and educational projects.

In the framework of the visit, the Training Center’s representatives conducted a seminar “Informed Young Voter” on the core aspects of elections and the role of voters in the election process.

Also, the mock election was conducted where students went through all the stages the voter takes on E-day at the polling station.

At the end of the meeting, students visited the historic photo-exhibition and library located at the CEC premises.
