Laura Thornton, a resident director of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Georgia, presented poll results of December 2017 to the chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Georgia, the commission members, heads of CEC Training Center and structural units of the Election Administration (EA). Ms Thornton delivered presentation on public attitudes in Georgia at the CEC.
According to the survey results of the NDI and the Caucasus Research Resources Center (CRRC), people assess October 21 Municipal Elections positively. Majority of interviewees consider that responsible persons for conduct of elections at polling stations were well-prepared and the overall environment was safe and well-organized.
Survey results reflect data collected from November 29 to December 19, through 2,298 face-to-face interviews with a nationwide representative sample.
