The training for the penitentiary system staff was held on Octomber 16, 2017. The training was organized under the joint project of the CEC Training Center and the Penitentiary and Probation Training Center. They will subsequently deliver the awareness-raising and training program for other staff of penitentiary facilities.

The following key topics were covered at the training: organizing electoral processes at penitentiary facilities, rule of placing agitation materials and the rule of raising awareness of convicts/accused individuals eligible to vote, procedures of voting at polling stations and under the mobile ballot box.

Manuals prepared by the CEC Training Center and the Penitentiary and Probation Training Center were distributed to participants.
