On April 27, 2012 the registration for the exam of election administration officer started
From May 15 of this year, Certification examinations shall be launched for election administration staff.
Under the auspices of Central Election Commission of Georgia, examinations shall be arranged by LEPL Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings (Training Center).
Certification aims to verify the knowledge of election legislation and general skills of the citizen of Georgia, for further selecting of high-qualified election administration officers.
Certification of election administration officers shall be held in a new way:
I. Registration of examination candidates shall be carried out online, via internet, from April 27 to May 4, to 18:00 p.m.
II. Examination will be carried out via e-test method.
I. Online registration of examination candidates
‹‹ Online registration of examination candidates requires few minutes.
‹‹ Following fields shall be field in e-application, at www.electionreforms.ge
‹‹ Examination candidate is free to choose suitable date and time of examination.
‹‹ After sending e-application, examination candidate automatically receives confirmation letter on e-mail (if available) (including registration number, examination date, time and venue).
‹‹ Citizens, having no access to internet, can apply directly to the examination secretary of Training Center from April 27 to May 4, inclusive, at the following address: 13th km of David Agmashenebeli Alley (10:00-18:00, excluding weekends).
‹‹ For registration purposes, citizen must present to the secretary ID card of citizen’s passport of Georgia.
II. Certification examination method:

‹‹ Tests of the certification examination (Available in Georgian) are public and they are placed on official web-pages of CEC and Training Center, www.cec.gov.ge ; www.electionreforms.ge
‹‹ Published examination tests are used during certification examination, without modifications (whereas, in math part of tests only numbers are changed).
‹‹ Candidate must have ID card or passport of Georgia, at the examination;
‹‹ Duration of examination is 1 hour.
‹‹ 30 examination tests are chosen for each candidate, including the following:
‹‹ Examination tests are selected automatically in e-program, via random selection method.
‹‹ Number of Right/False answers on examination tests shall be displayed. Candidate must score to 24 for positive results.
‹‹ After passing the examination candidate will be awarded with the certificate.
For providing publicity, representatives of accredited local nongovernmental and international organizations will be allowed to attend the examinations as observers.
For accreditation purposes, interested organizations must apply to the examination secretaru of the Training Center, from April 27 to May 4, at the following address: 13th km of David Agmashenebeli Alley, Tbilisi (10:00-18:00, excluding weekends)
Greater than 3 observers shall not be allowed in examination hall (one observer shall be allowed from the same organization, except the case when only one organization passed the accreditation procedure). Considering the number of accredited observers, in May 10-11, balloting may be held, for verifying consequence of allowing observers in examination hall (after balloting, accredited observers shall be notified via e-mail).
