1^st stage of trainings of DEC members has been held according to the Trainings Concept developed for the October 21, 2017 Elections of Sakrebulo – Municipality Representative body and Self-governing city/community Mayors. The training was dedicated to the training of full composition of DECs and the following training modules have been covered:

• activities of DECs during the pre-election period;
• first session of PECs and the rule of electing leadership (instruction for the first session (episodic role-play));
• registration of electoral stakeholders;
• summarizing the results of polling and elections at DECs;
• The rule of filing and review of applications/complaints at DECs.

896 members of 73 DECs took the training, among them 329 males and 567 females.
