The Training Center has commenced the project "Informed Young Voters" at partner universities; the project is aimed at promoting active participation of young voters for the second round of Parliamentary Elections of Georgia 2016.
On October 22, one-hour workshops were held at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University, Gori State Teaching University and Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University.
The workshops will be conducted in stages, during October 24-28 at the following universities:
The Project "Informed Young Voters" is aimed at promoting the topic of elections among youth, enhance their civic awareness and inform them about full-fledged exercising of electoral rights; this, in turn, envisages promoting active participation of young voters in elections.
