On 24-28 October of 2011, Delegation Ukraine CEC visited the CEC of Georgia and the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings. Major goal of visit was the exchange of information and experience regarding trainings in election administrations of Georgia.   

Center leadership submitted presentation on foundation of the Center, its functions, activities and innovative project. They also paid attention to updated “Concept of trainings for election administration employees”, introducing up-to-date teaching approach, methods, for supporting effectiveness of their activities. 

Representatives of the Ukraine CEC were interested in innovative projects elaborated by the Center.  For these purposes, on December 28, meeting/discussion was arranged among the Center and the representatives of the Ukraine CEC delegation, where the methodology of e-learning and implemented civil education projects were discussed (“accomplishment of educational program in the field of election law, in higher educational institutions of Georgia”, “Law Clinic”). 

Further cooperation perspectives were also reviewed during this visit.
