from May 11, 2016, the Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training, is launching the implementation of the Project Informed Young Voters at partner universities, among them, at three regional universities (Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University), and six universities in Tbilisi (Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Ilia State University, Sokhumi State University, Caucasus International University, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani Teaching University, Eastern Europe Teaching University).
As part of the project, 1-hour seminars will be held for the students of universities, and young voters between the age of 18 and 21 will participate in these seminars. Trainers trained by the Training Center will deliver the seminars.
The project Informed Young Voters has been implemented since 2013 and is aimed at supporting raising civic awareness of young voters and rendering first time voters more active.
