Representatives of the media attended two days workshop on election issues. Outdoor workshop was held at the Hotel “Rooms Hotel”, Kazbegi, on July 17-18. 20 journalists attended the training; they were introduced with the issues, such as media in election processes, pre-election campaign, usage of administration resources, informational awareness of elections, voting day procedures, etc.  In conclusive part of the workshop, participants discussed the ways of improving of the media invovlment in election procecesses.

Workshop was organized by the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings with financial support of International Foundation of Electoral Systems (IFES).
