In accordance with the concept of trainings developed by the LEPL Center for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training (Training Center), members of Precinct Election Commissions (PEC) are undergoing intensive training for the Elections of October 26, 2024.
Through the period of September 14 - October 2, I and II stage trainings were carried out throughout the country. The sessions were held according to the profile directions, within which PECs’ head officials and members, considering the procedural specifics of voting at the polling stations, got aquatinted in detail the practical aspects of the service to be provided to the voters, issues related to competence and the techniques of performing functions in the polling process. For election commissions, where polling will be held using electronic technologies, significant attention was paid to working with machines.

Based on the priority of professional training of election administrators at the polling stations, the training concept of the Training Centre provides for the component of additional stage trainings. It is addressed to the PEC head officials and members, who did not attend the I and/or II stage of the trainings, or were changed during the course of the training.
