The first stage of the certification exams for the members of Precinct Election Commission (PEC) has been completed.

Exams were held through the period of September 27 – October 6, 2023. LEPL Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training and Electoral Information Technology Department of Central Election Commission, according to the competences, ensured the organization of the examination process, operation of computer programs and holding examination. Examination centers (information is available in Georgian) opened in 16 municipalities served the citizens.

Out of a total of 8124 citizens registered for the exam, 5861 examinees appeared in the exam centers. According to the results of passing the exam, 5813 persons received the certificate of PEC members (4682 - women; Man – 1131). The second stage of the certification exam for PEC members is planned to be held in November. Information about the above mentioned will be posted on the websites of the CEC and the Training Centre in advance.
