From July 16 through July 31, 2020, the CEC and the Training Center will carry out the informational and awareness raising project Courses for Electoral Administrators – for Potential Members of PECs in 64 municipalities.

The above-mentioned course envisages profile training and is aimed at raising civic electoral awareness raising and facilitating the development of qualified human resources of the Election Administration. As part of a three-day training program, participants will be introduced to the voting day procedures and the issues within the competence of the Precinct Election Commission in the format of practical training.

The citizens of Georgia who were respectively registered at DECs from March 16 through March 27, 2020 are taking part in the training project.

The training course will be delivered by the members of DECs and the trainers of the Election Administration trained by the Training Center (157 trainers).

The training of trainers (TOT) was held in stages. Tamar Zhvania, the CEC Chair and Natia Zaalishvili, the Training Center Director opened the training. Online TOT was held during the period of July 6-10, 2020. At this stage, the in-person training is being conducted and covers the period of July 15-22, 2020.
