In accordance with the training concept elaborated for October 21, 2017 Municipal Elections the employees of the Training Centre are conducting training activities for the trainers of Election Administration.

In the frames of the training course elaborated by the Training Centre the participants are being introduced to different important topics, such as:

• Training conception for the members of Election Commission – training system and stages, methodology and training materials;
• Administering trainings;
• Issues within DEC competence;
• Issues within PEC competence;
• Polling process (including the policy supporting the participation of voters with disabilities);
• Conflict management;
• Security of Elections;
• Polling day announcement/complaint.

After taking the preparation course, the trainers (selected from Election Administrations trainers’ base as well as through the competition) in cooperation with DEC members will ensure the implementation of intensive training programs, concerning election legislation, for the members of DECs and PECs.

The CEC Training Centre, with the support of International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), will be conducting training activities for the trainers of Election Administration from August 29 to September 20, in the hotel “Kvarlis Edemi”, city of Kvareli.
