According to the Concept of Trainings developed for the second round of Parliamentary Elections of Georgia 2016, in order to implement the training program for PEC members, training of trainers of electoral administration is launched from October 20. The Training Center staff will deliver the training.

As part of the training course developed by the Training Center, the participants will get familiar with various important topics, among them:

• the concept of trainings of election commission members – the system and stages of trainings, trainings methodology, training materials;
• trainings administration;
• matters brought under the purview of precinct election commissions;
• the polling process (among them, the policy to promote participation of voters with disabilities);
• election security of elections;
• polling day applications/complaints.

Following taking the training course, the trainers, in cooperation with district election commission members, will implement training programs on electoral legislation for members of precinct election commissions.

The training of electoral administration trainers will be held in Tbilisi and regional centers and will continue through October 22.
