The CEC and the Training Center continue training and awareness raising programs for electoral stakeholders for the Parliament of Georgia October 8, 2016 Elections.
From September 13 through September 15, trainings will be conducted for representatives of electoral subjects (political parties, electoral blocs, initiative groups) and observers from local observer organizations, who were registered at the CEC for participation in elections at the time of planning of trainings.
Tamar Zhvania, CEC Chair, and Natia Zaalishvili, Training Center Director, opened the training. The goal of the training and awareness-raising program is to inform electoral stakeholders around election issues and facilitate effective performance of their functions. Participants will be introduced with the following main issues:
Trainings are held at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi. The representatives of the Training Center and the CEC Legal Department will deliver the trainings. Relevant manuals will be distributed to training participants.
