The Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training, according to the Election Administration of Georgia 2015-2019 Strategic Plan, has commenced the implementation of the Training Course – Overview of Elections and General Course on Electoral Procedures for new members of district election commissions, aimed at continuous professional development of Election Administration employees.

As part of the training course, the participants will learn about such issues as: the history of elections, election cycle, Election Administration and the code of ethics, activities of district and precinct election commissions and polling day procedures.

Trainings will be conducted in stages from February 25 through March 10, 2016, at the CEC Training Center, in Tbilisi, and newly elected 149 members from 63 district election commissions will take the course.
