The semestral teaching planned at the partner universities for the first (fall) semester of the 2015-2016 academic year has been completed.  168 students from 5 universities (Ilia State University, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Gori State Teaching University, Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University, David Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia) took the teaching course in Electoral Law prepared by the Training Center of the CEC; of these students, 111 are from School of Journalism, 57 students from Law Faculty, and 12 students from 2 universities (Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Caucasus University) took a practical teaching course as part of the Legal Clinic format.

The teaching course aims to promote civic awareness and electoral culture among youth, enhance necessary professional knowledge of students in electoral law and enhance their practical skills.

The teaching course in electoral law prepared by the Training Center is implemented by semesters at 19 universities. Since 2010, 2,883 students have taken the course.
